Barton Springs Pool is one of Austin's finest attractions and a perfect diversion for hot Texas days.  The artesian spring-fed natural pool in Zilker Park maintains a comfortable 68 degrees Farenheit year-round.  You can enjoy a natural swimming experience with no chlorine.  Surrounded by grassy knolls and moss-covered rocks, it is a perfect location for sunbathing as well.   There are also diving boards, concession stands and restrooms.   Nominal admission charge.
